Too many books to read, so little time.
What with the Cyber Monday deals the other day, I snagged a bunch of ebooks from O'Reilly:
- Sinatra: Up and Running
- Think Stats
- Programming Web Services with Erlang
- Hacking: The Next Generation
This should give me plenty to read over the upcoming holidays. I've already started in on the books on Sinatra and Erlang web services--so far so good! Reviews forthcoming once I'm finished.
Think Stats was an unusual choice for me, but I thought it an opportunity to learn more about Python and statistics. It's intended as an introduction to probability and statistics for Python programmers, using short exercises to illustrate those concepts. Not the way I learned stats in college.
